New whitepaper for accountants - The potential impact of document management on your practice
Compounding the administrative burden is the importance of this information, reinforced by heavy regulatory obligations and scrutiny.
Against this background, the case for document and content management is an obvious fit.
But what issues will it solve or new opportunities be opened up by adoption of this technology?
This whitepaper explores these whilst also taking a look at how to avoid any pitfalls which might negatively impact your chargeability if you decide that document management is right for your practice.

New Invu Product Sheets
Invu is focused on maximising efficiencies in day to day working practices. It does so by automating business practices, from content capture, to simple task routing, to full process management through to content transformation. Invu is proven to be effective in many markets with clear ROIs based on saving time, costs and space.
Importantly, there are also less tangible benefits to be considered such as enhanced communications, retaining knowledge in the business, standardising processes and ensuring SLAs are met.

Invu publish new white paper: “Confused about SharePoint”
Is it an enterprise content management tool? Is it a tool for automation? Is it a document management system? Is it a vehicle for a company intranet? Is it an application to solve content problems generally within businesses?
The white paper demystifies SharePoint. Written by Stuart Evans, Chief Technical Officer at Invu, it examines the different elements within SharePoint and quantifies its capability to provide an enterprise content management solution. Not all businesses will need every aspect of the office automation described in the paper, but the content will help focus on true business needs - to inform independent judgement, choose the right components and deploy a solution that not only gives a healthy ROI, but also provides meaningful tools for the workforce.

Invu sponsor The CharterGroup Accountancy Alliance Annual Conference

The event was well attended by 53 Senior Partners from 35 of the highest fee income practices in the country and allowed Invu the opportunity to meet both existing customers and to educate and inform of the merits of Invu for Accountants to new contacts.
Louise Prophet, Manager of Invu’s Accountancy Sector and Alison Jackson, Director, from Lindenhouse attended the event. Louise reported “It was a very friendly event where we were able to talk to our existing customers and also speak with other practices who have been mulling over the prospect of a Document Management Software solution for sometime. It was also good to meet up with several of our mutual Charter Group Business Partners including Practice Web and Caseware. It really was the ideal forum for us”
Invu for Accountants, created specifically for accountancy practices, is an intuitive, powerful and very compatible document management system available with integrations to all Practice Management packages including official links with both IRIS and Sage. Invu’s document management for accountants is backed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) who have accredited Invu.

Invu saves Manleys 20% in administrative overheads
Manleys are seeing major benefits already. Invu integrates with MYOB, the business and accountancy software, an application that Partners are already very familiar with. Tax Returns, payroll returns and client bookkeeping are generated using MYOB and saved into Invu automatically creating a comprehensive secure archive.
Invu has made working life quicker and easier for both Partners and the administrative team. The practice workload for around 600 clients is processed by just two members of staff, who have access to all client documents. This team generates first line response to client requests making a significant contribution to the efficiency of the practice.
“Invu is one of the key elements of our IT infrastructure and will help ensure we can develop into amodern and responsive accountancy practice”
Chris Windsor, Director
